Electrical resistance welding is a process used to join and fuse two separate ends of tubing together to create different lengths of tubing for a varied range of applications. As a method it offers certain advantages which make it one of the most popular services we offer to our clients. Continue reading “Our innovative electrical resistance welding services”
Protecting tubing in low temperature settings
The weakest part of an ERW tube is naturally the seam, because this is where the break in the material originally existed before the edges were forged together. This weakness needs to be taken into account, particularly if the tubes are to be used to carry liquids or harmful substances. The tubing will need to be regularly checked when possible and closely monitored so that any wear and tear is repaired. Continue reading “Protecting tubing in low temperature settings”
ERW tubes can be used for all kinds of applications
Cold rolled steel offers many advantages when it comes to creating tubes. It is simple to customise, cheap to manufacture and produces minimal waste. The cold rolled steel manufacturing technique involves using strip steel and a series of rollers to form the material into a tube. Once this is done the edges are welded together, creating a “mother tube”. This can then be finished in a number of ways, including adapting the shape and dimensions if required. Choosing ERW tubes over seamless
We are often asked about the differences between seamless and electric resistance welded (ERW) tubes. The main difference is that while seamless tubes are rolled into size as a complete piece, ERW tubes are rolled but rather welded along a longitudinal seam rather than formed as a complete piece. Continue reading “Choosing ERW tubes over seamless”
Tubing in the agriculture sector
Electric resistance welded (ERW) tubes can be used in a wide array of different applications. The tubing comes in a variety of forms, including a selection of lengths, diameters, shapes, wall thicknesses and even finishes. As a result the tubes can meet all kinds of requirements and be seen in many settings. Continue reading “Tubing in the agriculture sector”
Combining the best in design and manufacturing
ERW tubes offer great advantages, as they can be used in a varied selection of environments. Electric resistance welding refers to the industrial process of connecting two surfaces with the heat produced by the electrical resistance of the materials and the pressure used during the welding process. As a leading supplier of a wide range of ERW tubes, our clients can rely on us to manufacture and deliver products at the right time and the right price.
